The flights Athens – Kythira and vice versa are operated by Aegean air and Sky Express. From June until October there is a daily service and out of season several times per week. Below you will find the timetables.

Ferry
Neapolis – Kythira
The ferry Porfyrousa provides a convenient link between Neapolis in the Peloponnese and the island of Kythira (Diakofti port). During peak season, there are daily sailings, while in the off-season, the ferry operates six times per week. The journey takes approximately one hour and 15 minutes. The ferry timetables are listed below.

The ferry Aqua Jewel from SeaJets Ferries maintains a connection between Piraeus, Kythira, Antikythera, Kissamos (Crete) and Gythion. The travel time from Piraeus to Kythera is about 6,5 hours.

Bus
Athens – Neapolis
Gythion – Kythira
From Athens you can take the bus to the South of the Peloponnese, to Neapolis or Gythion and then the ferry to Kythira. There is a daily ferry connection between Neapolis and Kythira (outside the season 6 times per week). From Gythion once a week a ferry sails to Kythira.
The busses in Athens leave from the bus station at Kifissou street 100. You can reach this bus station with Line X93 from the airport and with Line 051 from Omonia square (departure at the corner of Zinonos and Menandrou street).
